Founded in 1675, Château Grand-Pouilly Ducasse grew from a modest riverside home into one of Pauillac’s historic estates. Expanded by Pierre Ducasse across prestigious terroirs near Lafite and Latour, the château established winemaking facilities at the Gironde’s mouth in 1820—unique in central Pauillac for two centuries. Recognized in the 1855 Grands Crus Classés, its 40 hectares across 11 soil types capture the full richness of Pauillac.
